From Summer to Winter


One of my favourite things to do is look at past photo sessions that I'm fond of. My partner, James has a beautiful costume of Mollymauk from the Dungeons and Dragons podcast, Critical Role.


In 2020 we first ventured to the hills of High Park to photograph this costume in the sweltering Toronto heat during a very rainy night. This year, we took it to the same park and photographed it on an extremely snowy, cold night. I used all the exact same equipment as I did during our 2020 session, save for an LED light in the winter.

Improvements were made all around! Not only have I grown and flourished as a photographer, James can now apply the purple makeup in record time.
